Buying suggestions : 3D printer

Post by Mayiladan »

Hi , my first post :)
I am looking for buying advice for an offline 3D printer.

Initial budget :
20K approx. Ready to integrate upgarde parts at extra price later.

Most sought features :
Stop-resume.
better stability. bed calibration should stay put for some time.
8x8 inch heated bed or more.

Material to be printed : Rough show-pieces. ( PLA would suffice ). very fine surface-resolution is not a priority right now.

thanks in advance !

If possible :
Future upgrade to .3mm extrusion.
Good documentation, upgradeable or open-source firmware.
Better support info in youtube and forums..(widely adopted)
Availability of spares parts / upgrade parts.
Loud working is not an issue, will be placed outdoors in dedicated enclosure.

Knocked-down kit is ok, assembly is possible at buyer end.
Looking for an online (couriered) purchase.

The current suggestion (August 2021) appears to be Ender 5.

Trying to understand the differences between Ender 5 variations.

Some aspects like low-noise operation might not be essential for me.
Does the performance differ between the low-noise and noisy systems ?
